Diagnosis:

Pain can be divided into two categories Acute and Chronic pain. Acute pain tends to last less than 3 months and will be resolved with or without treatment. Pain lasting longer than 3 months is considered chronic pain. Southern Coast Pain Specialists can help diagnose and treat both acute and chronic pain. Chronic pain is a prevalent condition that affects over 100 million people in the United States alone. Pain can occur anywhere in the body and its severity can be mild to severe. Pain is usually your body’s way of alerting you that something is not right, and you should seek evaluation by a trained doctor. Anyone can be afflicted by chronic pain, but chronic pain can be effectively treated and does not have to interfere with your quality life.

Finding out the reason for your pain is a crucial first step to becoming pain free. Dr. Schuyler at Southern Coast Pain Specialists, will perform a thorough examination and evaluation to determine the specific pain generators that are causing your symptoms. He will then recommend and execute the best treatment plan for your specific and individual condition to help you get back to enjoying a pain free life.
