What to Expect:
- When you visit our practice, our goal is to offer you the best medical treatment experience you’ve ever had. From the moment you step through our doors, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly, qualified medical assistants (MAs) or nurses. They will admit you, take your vital signs, and review your medical history and paperwork. We’ll ask about your pain, family history, medication usage, and any prior treatments you’ve received, ensuring we have a comprehensive understanding of your condition.
- Next, the MA will report your information to Dr. Schuyler, who will have already reviewed your paperwork. He will meet with you, conduct a thorough physical examination, ask more specific questions, and review any prior or current imaging if available. Afterward, he will provide you with a likely diagnosis and a personalized treatment plan. Your visit will last approximately 30 minutes.
- Throughout your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and be an active participant in your treatment plan. At Southern Coast Spine & Pain Specialists, our process is centered around you—your comfort, your needs, and your path to healing.
