The Southern Coast Spine & Pain team wants you to have the best experience possible while at our clinic and we are dedicated to making your visit comfortable, convenient and one step closer to pain relief!

In order to help us, we ask you to bring certain items. These are important as it allows our providers to obtain the most complete picture of your pain condition and allows us to truly understand your condition. This in turn allows us to offer you the BEST treatment for you without “re-inventing” the wheel and repeating tests and therapies you may have already been through.

    What to Bring:

    • Completed New Patient Paperwork (button will lead to patient form page)
    • A list of ALL medications (both prescribed and over the counter)
    • Any prior medical records pertaining to your pain issue:
    • These include x-rays, CAT scans or MRI’s
    • A list of questions or concerns to discuss with your provider

    What to Expect:

    At Southern Coast Spine & Pain Specialists, we understand the stress, anxiety and concern your pain is causing in your life. We know you would rather be in many other places. However, as a patient coming to our practice our overarching goal is to provide the best medical office treatment you have ever experienced. Our mission is to provide successful treatment options so that you can overcome the challenges you face by living in pain and get back to the life you deserve.

    Your visit will consist of:

    • A friendly qualified MA or Nurse that will admit you and take your Vital Signs, Review your history and paperwork, will ask questions about your pain, ask about your family history, medication usage and prior treatments.
    • The MA will report to Dr. Schuyler who will have already reviewed your paperwork. He will then enter and provide a thorough examination including more specific questions and a dedicated physical exam. He will then review prior or current imaging if available. He will provide the most likely diagnosis and treatment plan. The total time for your visit will be approximately 30 minutes.
    • Every step of the way you will have an opportunity to ask questions and be an active member in your treatment plan.
